Gossip magazine The National Enquirer has started many rumors about Whitney Houston over the years, and now they will be producing a documentary on the deceased singer, IndieWire.com reports. The new project will focus mostly on stories about Houston’s drug-taking, marriage and family life.

“Whitney’s death sees the end of one of the greatest talents of our time … We want to tell her true story and our partnership with The National Enquirer will enable us to do just that,” said Leila Monks, a Zig Zag Productions executive.

In the past, “The National Enquirer” has wrongfully diagnosed Houston with emphysema and spread rumors about her rehab stints.
