Comedian/Actor Tracy Morgan collapsed outside of a Sundance Film Festival charity event after receiving an award. An ambulance rushed him, and his fiancee Megan Wollover, to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Morgan was attending the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards where he was being honored on Sunday. After his speech, he was escorted out of the building where he fell unconscious.
He was taken to Park City Medical Center and his current condition in unknown. A spokeswoman for the hospital stated that no drugs or alcohol were found in Tracy’s system upon medical evaluation.
According to sources, during the charity’s dinner Tracy Morgan seemed out of control, yelling and falling onto the ground. Unidentified onlookers say he “appeared extremely intoxicated during his award acceptance speech”.
In a statement released by his publicist, Morgan’s bizarre behavior was, “a combination of exhaustion and altitude, Tracy is seeking medical attention. He is with his fiance, and they are grateful to the Park City Medical Center for their care. Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100% false.”
While there is no proof Tracy had consumed alcohol, if you’re a publicist, what else can you say about your client’s odd behavior?
