The fourth man to file a lawsuit accusing Bishop Eddie Long of sexual coercion talked exclusively to Channel 2 investigative reporter Jodie Fleischer on Wednesday. Spencer LeGrande, a member of New Birth Charlotte said the pastor coerced him into a sexual relationship.

From WSB-TV:

LeGrande, now 22, told Fleischer he decided to come forward with his story after he saw the first two lawsuits filed against Long. “They said bishop has been accused of something, and my heart dropped. And that was my time that God told me to release what I had to say,” said LaGrande.

LeGrande said even though he’d already told his family and a few friends about what happened, he did not truly feel free until he went public with his allegations of sexual abuse in this lawsuit. “There’s only one way to God and that’s the truth,” he told Fleischer.

Spencer LeGrande was just 15 years old when his family joined the New Birth satellite church in Charlotte.
