Minton’s Playhouse, the legendary jazz venue, came to life in Shockoe Bottom last week when the Richmond Youth Jazz Guild brought together musicians ages 12-18 for “Minton’s at Muse,” a concert at Muse Creative Workspace located at 6 N. 19th St. The Richmond Youth Jazz Guild frequently reaches back to tradition as they provide youth music instruction in jazz. www.musecreativeworkspace.com
