NBC 12 has released this week’s Restaurant Report naming several restaurants that have received health violations. Is your favorite restaurant on the list? Here’s two eateries that made the list:
1) Hanover Tavern and Pub at 13181 Hanover Courthouse Road: This place had 5 critical violations upon inspection. According to the report, there were flies in the food preparation area which led to a violation.
2) Cha Cha Cantina at 1419 East Cary Street had 6 critical violations. A cooler malfunctioned, leaving chicken, shrimp, pork, beef patties, corn, and scallops at improper temperatures. The restaurant owner said even though the cooler was repaired, he will buy a new one to make sure food is kept at the correct temperature.
