Drivers Beware! Operation DISS-RUPT is coming

Drivers who use Interstate 64 (I-64) are being warned about a Virginia State Police enforcement that starts later this week. State troopers have announced and will be conducting Operation DISS-RUPT along the interstate on Thursday and Friday. Law enforcement will ramp up its presence across Virginia’s section on I-64, with the goal of reducing speeding, impaired driving, and increasing seatbelt usage. According the VSP, they hope to meet their goal of having no deadly crashes during the enforcement period.

Be safe on the interstate! Buckle up in the front and rear of the vehicle because it is the law in Virginia.
