After CBS declined to air the interview of Texas State rep James Talarico, Stephen Colbert released it on the show’s YouTube and received over 3 million views in just 18 hours. CBS’ decision to not air the interview was based on Trump appointed FCC Chair Brendan Carr’s enforcement of equal-time rule, which governs political coverage fairness.
