The Morris twins on fighting the Jokic Brothers: ‘Set it Up!’

The Morris Brothers are still looking to even the score against Nikola Jokic and his brother after a flagrant foul that happened almost four years ago.
Markieff and his brother Marcus Morris were guests on Shaquille O’Neal’s ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’, the twins revealed that they want to go toe-to-toe with NBA Superstar Nikola Jokic and his brother in a two on two boxing match.
Markieff recalls his account between him and the former NBA MVP, alleging that the hit was uncalled for, being that his foul was legal; intentional, but legal.
“That was a cheap shot.. If you see that angle, I put my hand up, I let it be known [I fouled him]” Morris explained. “He hit me from behind, I think it’s a cheap shot.”

How did the Morris and Jokic beef begin?
On November 8th, 2021, The Denver Nuggets were up late in the fourth quarter against the Miami Heat, when Markieff Morris decided to foul Jokic to stop another easy fastbreak bucket. Jokic did not take kindly to the intentional foul, and charged at Morris full speed as he was walking away from the play. The impact of Jokic’s shoulder charge snapped Morris’ head back, resulting a scuffle between teams, coaches spilling onto the floor, and Morris laying motionless for a couple of minutes.
