Google revealed its top-10 trending searches in several categories for 2024, and a state attraction made one of the lists! Luray Caverns was among the top 10 visitor attractions searched via Google Maps in the United States in 2024.
Found on Google Trends‘s “Year in Search” page, the list is one of the categories found under the “Google Maps” section. Kemah Boardwalk placed ninth on the list of the most-searched visitor attractions among all searches made within the U.S. Other top-10-most-searched visitor attractions include:

Luray Caverns, previously Luray Cave, is a cave just west of Luray, Virginia, United States, which has drawn many visitors since its discovery in 1878. The cavern system is adorned with speleothems such as columns, mud flows, stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, and mirrored pools.
