EPMD is about to bless us with some new music. Parrish Smith told HipHopDX that he and Erick Sermon are in the studio after a trip where they performed shows in Africa.
Smith said, “The demand from the Hip Hop community, the previous dope shows we did like at The Apollo and the trip to Africa really made us want to do the album. It’s just time. Everything just comes back around. Like ‘Business As Usual,’ we gots to give the people what they want.”
Smith also said he and Sermon are in a good place together. They are already three or four songs into the new album. This would be their first work since 2008. Stay tuned for when it will be released.
