Virginia House Speaker Kirk Cox says he’s shocked by the admission that Attorney General Mark Herring dressed up in blackface. Just days ago, Herring called on Governor Ralph Northam to retire over a racist photo from his yearbook page. Herring’s now admitted to actually wearing blackface. He has apologized, but he has not stepped down. Speaker Cox says Herring should adhere to the standard he has set for others, or he will lose credibility.
