Virginia Gov Northam Announces Funds For School Safety

The Commonwealth of Virginia is the recipient of over a million dollars for school safety. On Tuesday, Governor Ralph Northam announced that 33 localities will split the funds to hire school security and resource officers. The funds will allocated for positions at 15 elementary schools and 18 middle or high schools across the Commonwealth. Northam says he is glad to help keep kids in Virginia safe.
