There are only two gubernatorial races in the United States this year and that’s, New Jersey and Virginia. Who will become the 73rd governor of Virginia? The choice is all up to Virginia registered voters heading to the polls on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. The voter polls are open 6:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.
Medicaid expansion is a huge issues in Virginia and will be hot topic for voters. Civil rights icon ‘do-er’ Reverend Jesse Jackson has announced the “Health and Rebuilding’ bus tour that’s rolling through Virginia. Rev. Jackson is encouraging all community service organizations to host voter drives and get those who have not registered to vote to register and fire up the base for those inactive voters. Inactive names will eventually be taken off of the voter roll.
The General Election is Tuesday, November 7, 2017 and the voter registration deadline is Monday, October 16, 2017.
