Chance the Rapper Donates $1 Million to Chicago Public Schools

Chance the Rapper donated $1 million of his personal money to the Chicago Public School Foundation.

Chance announced this after a meeting with Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner, which he described as “vague” and “unsuccessful.”

“Our kids should not be held hostage because of political positioning,” Chance said at the press conference at Wescott Elementary school.
