Desiigner, Dae Dae, Lil Yachty, D.R.A.M., Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Young M.A, and even DJ Khaled also hit the hip-hop awards stage. Artists like Big K.R.I.T. and T.I. took a more serious approach to their performances this year by selecting songs addressing police brutality and social injustice.
