David E. Talbert is kicking off his Actor’s Workshop & Talent Search in Chicago on October 1st and continuing on to Dallas, New York and Washington, DC.
Talbert talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about what he’s looking for in new talent and Almost Christmas, his new film he wrote and directed.
“There’s been a whole big buzz on #OscarsSoWhite and diversity, so this is the part that I’m doing. Things are moving in Hollywood but what I’m trying to do is focus outside of Hollywood. It’s cultivating new talent so that they will be prepared for other opportunities,” Talbert said.
