2016 MTV Video Music Awards - Show

Kanye West is here to inspire…with the help of Teyana Taylor‘s body, that is.

Dressed in all white and stepping on stage to lots of fanfare, Kanye used his long-anticipated 4 minutes at the 2016 Video Music Awards to debut the video for his The Life Of Pablo track “Fade” starring the sexy and talented Teyana Taylor. Prior to the unveiling of the Flashdance inspired visuals, Kanye (in true Yeezy fashion) gave us a few words of inspiration.

“Famous might lose to Beyonce tonight, but I can’t be mad. I’m always wishing for Beyonce to win,” he confessed.

“But for people to understand, just how blessed we are…[the video] was an expression of our now. Our fame right now. Us on the inside of the TV. The audacity to put Anna winter next to Donald Trump. I mean, I put Ray J in there, bruh. This is fame bruh.”

The jab made everyone in the house giggle, including Mrs. Kardasian West herself. Kim even took it in stride when her hubby shouted out his ex in the crowd.

“I see you Amber!,” he exclaimed while pointing into the crowd

Bringing his speech home, Kanye claims his rightful place next to the visionaries of our generation. “I sit down and talk to older rich people. AKA, white. And they tell me, don’t compare yourself to Steve Jobs and Walt Disney. And my friend Zekiah [sp] told me, ‘It’s 3 keys that keep people empiveried: taking away their esteem, taking away their resources and taking away their role models. My role models are artist/merchants…Truman, Ford, Hughes, Disney, Jobs, West.”

Ye’ also managed to give shout outs to his biggest inspirations in the crowd including Diddy, his wife Kim Kardashian West, Chance The Rapper, and 2Chainz
