Thousands are waking up in the dark this morning. Severe storms wreaked havoc across Virginia last night. Dominion Virginia Power crews are working to restore service to Richmond area customers. Last night’s storms left more than 60-thousand customers without service as strong winds knocked threes onto power lines. The strong winds not only toppled trees onto power lines but also homes and cars around Central Virginia.
