Francis Townley Haas is heading to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. The 19-year-old Haas is a graduate of Benedictine High School in Richmond, Virginia. Haas qualified for the U.S. Olympic team Tuesday night by winning the 200-meter freestyle. Haas also participate in the four by 200-meter freestyle relay in addition to the 200-meter race. Haas just completed his freshman year at the University of Texas, where he won the NCAA National Championship in the 200-meter freestyle, 500-meter freestyle, and the 800-meter freestyle relay.
