How do you cope? The Lawsons are the proud parents of a two-year old girl on life support at VCU Medical Center. Little Mirranda Grace choked on a popcorn kernel and has been on life support for a month. The parents of Mirranda Grace say they see progress, but doctors want to perform a brain death test to determine if the girl is brain-dead. The family has posted an appeal bond delaying the critical test. A judge ruled the test can go ahead, but the family came up with the 30-thousand dollar bond to put everything on hold for as long as three months.
