It’s fun for the summer at Richmond Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities. Get ready for 9th Annual ‘Send-A-Kid to Camp’ radiothon on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 8 a.m. -8 p.m held at the Radio One Richmond studios located at 2809 Emerywood Parkway, Suite 300, Richmond, Virginia.

Are you ready to hear your favorite songs on Ipower 92.1/104.1 FM and 99.3/105.7 Kiss Fm? Just simply make a donation of $25 or more and we will play what you want to hear.

Let’s keep children in a safe and structured environment for the summer. Richmond Parks and Rec camps run June 27-August 26, Monday -Friday, 7:30 a.m-5:30 p.m. at 12 locations. This year’s theme is ‘Up, Up and Away’ and features breakfast, lunch, 30 minutes of curriculum, creative imagination, river exploration, arts and crafts, field trips, swimming, sports and more. Donate to send kids to camp on May 5th by calling into the phone bank at 804-521-8400 with your check or credit card or by texting ‘KID’ to 23845. Also, make donations online at enrichmond.org/send-a-kid-to-camp.

Donations accepted will provide scholarships for children to attend Richmond Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities camps. All donations are tax-deductible.
