A Team Effort by Everyone Involved…

Several runners, including a Hanover fireman and paramedic, were able to save another runner’s life during the Monument Avenue 10k. Matt Howell spent several months of extensive training in preparation for the big day this past Saturday. However, another type of training kicked in when he spotted a runner go down and several runners giving him CPR. Howell was able to use a defibrillator, while the others did CPR to revive the man and send him to the hospital. Howell says it was a team effort by everyone involved.
