Apparently, everyone is getting into ‘Formation’ ahead of Beyonce’s much anticipated sixth album. And last night Madea joined the Beyhive in showing her excitement.

Friday night at the Milwaukee Theatre in Milwaukee, WI during “Tyler Perry’s Madea On the Run,” the star of the show did a little dance to a live band’s version of “Formation.”

The music drops as he nods his head and sings, “My daddy Alabama, my momma Louisiana.” Adding, “You mix that negro with that Creole and get a Texas bamma!” the crowd immediately got the reference and erupted in laughter.

“Tyler Perry’s Madea On the Run” has been on tour since August 2015, with stops all over the country. In addition to his stage plays, the writer and producer is wrapping up “Boo! A Madea Halloween” and in pre-production for his new show, “Too Close to Home.”

“To the almost 20,000 people who showed up for Madea on the Run in St. Louis!!,” he said on Twitter. “Thank you!! I’m having so much fun.”
