Parents, Educators, and Community Listen Up!
On April 8, 2016, Sheriff C.T. Woody, Jr. and the Richmond City Sheriff’s office will partner with several local bar associations and Richmond Public Schools to present the Rule of Law Program to students in middle and high schools.
The Rule Law Programs will expose students to various branches of government and real laws by partnering law enforcement, attorneys and jurists with students for an open discussion on laws and regulations and these laws impact their lives.

It is imperative that our students get the real deal on the laws and not settle for the myths from the streets. Let’s educate and not incarcerate our young adults. Please allow your students to have an open, honest and heartfelt discussion about laws and regulations.
The Rule of Law Program will be held this year at the Capitol and the Supreme Court of Virginia. According to Tony Pham, the program will consist of an overview presented by esteemed members of their respective professions and will include break-out sessions where the smaller settings will be conducive for open discussion.
