The Virginia Presidential Primary is Tuesday, March 1, 2016. This day is known as “Super Tuesday” where 11 states will head to the polls and vote. Let’s see how Trump supporters are holding up in the commonwealth. According to the latest Christopher Newport University survey Trump is leading all Republican presidential candidates with 28-percent support, but 64-percent said they have an unfavorable view of him. As for the Democrats, 52-percent say they would vote for Hillary Clinton, despite a higher favorability rating for Bernie Sanders.
I’m trying to understand here, Trump is unfavorable but people will still vote for him. And, Sanders is most favorable but people will vote for Clinton. I’m waiting until the exit poll votes are counted.
