Comedian Tony Rock is bringing the funny to your city next month as he takes part in The Royal Comedy Tour. The funny comes to its first city February 13th and it stars Gary Owen, Sommore, Tommy Davidson and Earthquake.
He talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about big brother Chris, Super Bowl 50 and how he feels about football being brought to Los Angeles.
Has he given his brother any advice on hosting the Oscars?
“I told him to go on stage with the Nation of Islam behind him. Put the podium out there, put some brothers in the aisle selling bean pies and chicken dinners in the back.”
On Super Bowl 50:
“It’s the ultimate white boy vs the dabbing negro. If Cam wins and dabs on national television with Obama calling him. Black History Month will never be the same. They should put him dabbing on the $20 bill.”
Along with the being on the road, Tony is also the host of Russell Simmons’ All Def Comedy Jam Live.
