Will Emma Stone play Cruella de Vil in an upcoming Disney movie? According to the Hollywood Reporter, she’s negotiating the deal as we speak.

The site reports:

Emma Stone is in early negotiations to portray the iconic Disney villainess Cruella de Vil in the film Cruella, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The project, Disney’s live-action re-imagining of the 101 Dalmatians character, has no director but it is a priority for the studio which is hoping to shoot the film later this year.

We’ll keep our fingers crossed for Emma.

Netflix and Chill has gone global.

The online streaming service has expanded tremendously, according to Netflix co-founder and chief executive Reed Hastings.

From EW:

“Today you are witnessing the birth of a new global Internet TV network,” said co-founder and chief executive Reed Hastings. “With this launch, consumers around the world – from Singapore to St. Petersburg, from San Francisco to Sao Paulo – will be able to enjoy TV shows and movies simultaneously – no more waiting. With the help of the Internet, we are putting power in consumers’ hands to watch whenever, wherever and on whatever device.”

The expansion involved adding services in Arabic, Korean, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese to the 17 languages it already supports.

Unfortunately, the expansion did not include China, Crimea, North Korea, or Syria:

However, there are still a few countries that do not receive the service. Netflix will not yet be available in China, though the company says it’s continuing “to explore options for providing the service.”

It also won’t be available in Crimea, North Korea, and Syria “due to U.S. government restrictions on American companies.”
