Your vote is your voice, choice, right and power. I have always encouraged my listeners and social media followers to vote the issue and not a political party. Well, according to the latest CNU poll Virginia millennials are leaning toward voting as an independent.

Millennials in Virginia, the group of young people born between 1980’s through the early 2000’s, are not swaying toward the republican or democratic political parties. The latest Christopher Newport University poll shows that 40-percent of the voters between the ages of 18 and 36 are other or independent. Democrats made up 37-percent of the poll while Republicans were 24-percent. There were over two-thousand people surveyed, and almost 50-percent of Richmond area Millennial voters did not choose a party.
