Jacque Reid talks to Dr. Sheri Prentiss, a board certified occupational and environmental medicine physician and breast cancer survivor. She’s also the national spokesperson for the Susan G. Komen Three Day program. The two talk about Dr. Prentice’s journey from patient to survivor.

“In October 2008 I found a lump in my right breast and it was breast cancer. I underwent a partial mastectomy. They removed 16 lymph nodes, three of which were positive for breast cancer,” Dr. Prentice said.

About WOW Health Group, her organization that practices optimistic medicine:

“Learning how to live from one wild moment o the next. Learning how to be happy and joyful on your journey to good health. Everybody wants to see things change, but where you are right now doesn’t have to disturb you.”
