Roland Martin, host of TV One’s NewsOne Now, spoke with hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons about this past weekend’s Justice or Else Rally and Minister Louis Farrakhan’s remarks about redistributing the pain to enact social justice in America.

Simmons told Martin, “There are some corporations that are obviously not paying attention to their consumers.”

“Maybe they can redistribute the pain in places where it needs to be,” said Simmons. “Never mind a small diversity program that never yields any success stories, but a real conscious effort to be inclusive in the Black community.”

Simmons also highlighted actions that Congress can take to “redistribute the pain,” saying, “We talk about police — a GoPro would make a great TV show for a good cop and a terrible one for a bad cop.”
