Kris and Caitlyn Jenner may have put their differences aside, but it seems as though Kris is still not used to Cait’s transition.
The matriarch of the Kardashian/Jenner clan revealed to Access Hollywood that while she’s adjusted to her ex’s new life as a woman, her name is still an issue. When asked if she could call her former spouse Caitlyn, Kris admitted:
“No. I say ‘Jenner. It’s hard, you know, it’s really, really hard. What I have realized in all of this is that everyone handles stuff a different way. No matter what it is, you know. We’re all people. We all have different emotions.”
Although Kris has known Cait as Bruce for over 22 years, she’s still getting to know the female side, adding:
“I just thought she would be a little bit different. Bruce had a distinct personality and, you know, had definite characteristics. And Caitlyn has some different ones, I feel.”
When asked if she could ever be girlfriends or besties with Cait, Kris candidly replied:
“I don’t know about curl up on the couch, but she came over for a drink last night. And that was nice.”
