Former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell loses his appeal to stay out of prison and now his state pension, all because of a bill he signed into law four years ago. Current governor Terry McAuliffe has started the processing to strip McDonnell of his state pension, which is about 37-hundred dollars a month, according to the Washington Post.

Under the law signed by McDonnell in 2011, any state employee convicted of felonies related to job conduct must give up their state benefits.

Bob McDonnell faces 24-months in prison.
