Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts Is Fired

The head of the Baltimore Police Department has been fired. Police Commissioner Anthony Batts received the news today from Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. Batts was in charge of the police department when Freddie Gray died while in police custody which led to more crime, homicides and riots following the incident in April.
