If Kendrick Lamar’s recent comments were to spark a conversation, he’s struck gold.  After Lamar’s comments in Billboard magazine earlier this week got Azealia Banks fired up, it spread over onto Kid Cudi. Lamar spoke with Billboard where he gave his thoughts on the recent protests surrounding the Ferguson, Mo. shooting death of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown, by former police officer Darren Wilson. The “I” rapper told the magazine:

I wish somebody would look in our neighborhood knowing that it’s already a situation, mentally, where it’s f—ed up. What happened to [Michael Brown] should’ve never happened. Never. But when we don’t have respect for ourselves, how do we expect them to respect us? It starts from within. Don’t start with just a rally, don’t start from looting — it starts from within.

It didn’t sit well with Mz. Banks, prompting her to go on a epic rant on Twitter about Lamar’s remarks. Now, Kid is sounding off against Lamar’s statements. While not naming Lamar, Kid alluded to his interview and remarked on Twitter:

The “Satellite Flight” rapper’s comments struck a nerve with Lupe Fiasco which prompted the “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free)” MC to fire back at Kid saying:

Kid caught wind of what Lupe said about him and clapped back stating:

Undeterred, Lupe kept going at Kid, remarking:

Lupe is beyond mad isn’t he? Was there more to Lupe’s attacks against Kid? When a follower of Lupe’s asked him why doesn’t he pick up the phone and call Kid (seriously, why not bruh??) about his issues and if there was something else going down, Lupe revealed all. According to Lupe, Kid accused him of being a thief! Lupe claims:

Lupe’s all in his feelings.
