Update: A federal judge has sentenced former Governor Bob McDonnell to only 2 years in prison on 11 corruption charges. McDonnell had originally faced up to 12 years for the crimes.
Update 11am: Judge James R. Spencer has lowered the sentencing guidelines from 10-12 years to 6.5-8 years, a small victory for McDonnell.

Former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell arrived to the courthouse Tuesday morning for sentencing on his 11 counts of corruption he was found guilty of 4 months ago.
McDonnell’s attorney is asking for community service but the prosecution is seeking 10 years for the disgraced former governor.
