You are invited out to dinner for Military Appreciation Day at Golden Corral on 11 South Providence Road near Midlothian Turnpike tonight 5-9. Veterans will have dinner free of charge, however, family members and friends will have to pay the full price for dinner. The free dinner includes active duty service members.
Veteran King Tutt, midday announcer at 99.3/105.7 Kiss Fm will provide music at dinner. Veteran KJ will co-host the ‘thank you’ event with Clovia Lawrence.
Veterans and families we want you to enjoy dinner, but we also, want you to obtain information about veteran services, programs, housing, re-entry, compensation and restoration of rights for felony offenses. The short presentation will be presented by Retired Chief Warrant Officer of the US Navy, Henry Mack,Veterans Helping Veterans Now, Clovia Lawrence of Rolling For Freedom-R4F, Radio One Richmond INC, and Disabled Veterans of American Legion 17 and 50.
Junior ROTC cadets from Richmond Public Schools and Chesterfield County Schools will assist Wednesday night.
