In one of the first cases of it’s kind, a New Jersey judge has ruled that a woman preparing for birth can bar the father from the delivery room!!!
Superior Court Judge Sohail Mohammed said all patients, pregnant women especially, enjoy strong privacy protections that let them decide who can be at their hospital bedside while fathers have no legal to be present at the birth their child.
