I was flipping through the channels today and the classic movie about a young orphan with a “hard knock life” was just what I needed to get me through a lazy Saturday afternoon. Little to my surprise did I know that Oscar nominated Quvenzhané Wallis has been cast to play little orphan “Annie” for the movie remake hitting theaters Christmas 2014. Of course the decision to make “Annie” black is causing controversy! Quvenzhané will star in the film along with Jamie Foxx who will play the updated version of “Daddy Warbucks”! I can not wait to see how little Miss Quvenzhané bring this role to life. Click below to check out the trailer.
