The President of Uganda, has signed into law a very controversial anti-gay bill which carries punishments up to life in prison if found to be gay.
President Yoweri Museveni had been going back and forth on the idea to sign the bill since homosexual acts are illegal in Uganda anyway, but he faced major opposition from the west.
