Kansas lawmaker, State Rep. Gail Finney who is a Democrat from Wichita, says that she wants to allow up to 10 strikes to the hand which could leave marks and bruising.
This spanking bill would allow teachers, caregivers, parents and those authorized by parents to spank kids.

Kansas is one of 19 states which currently allows corporal punishment in schools. The other states are Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wyoming.
