MLK Day Of Service: Three local nonprofit and community organizations are joining forces to offer a variety of service events to promote the theme and significance of Dr. King’s Day Of Service.
The are: HandsOn Greater Richmond http://www.handsonrva.org, Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities http://www.inclusiveva.org/, and The Virginia Mentoring Partnership http://www.vamentoring.org/.
There will be a screening of the film “Troop 491”: The Adventures of the Muddy Lions at the Byrd Theatre Monday, January 20 from 1 – 4pm.There are also a number of volunteer service projects across the Greater Richmond area for the public to volunteer and give back from 9am -1pm.
