Livability.com has released its “Top Best 100 Places to Live 2014” list. The website ranks quality of life and travel amenities of the country’s small and mid-sized cities. Richmond ranked 57th, Charlottesville 26th and Newport News 77th. Richmond scored high in healthcare, amenities and education. Palo Alto, California ranked number 1 on the national listing. Durham, North Carolina ranked 4th, and Rockville, Maryland ranked 10th.
