A new Quinnipiac University poll shows Virginia voters favor Democrat Terry McAuliffe over Republican Ken Cuccinelli in the governor’s race. The poll indicates among other things that voters believe both candidates are spending too much time on nasty attack ads instead of outlining what they will do if elected.  According to the poll McAuliffe was favored by a 48% to 42%  margin over Cuccinelli.
