The 2013 NBA Finals have been a rollercoaster ride for Miami Heat fans who saw their team play the best game of their season before flying off to San Antonio for three grueling match-ups against the Spurs. That rollercoaster is now headed downhill and about to return to the platform after San Antonio’s 114 – 104 rout of the defending champions in Game 5. The win gives the Spurs a commanding 3 – 2 lead in the series, and they can dethrone the champs with a win Tonight at South Beach. Easier said than done.

Certainly, the NBA’s MVP LaBron James and his teammates will not go away easy or without a fight, but it’s clear the Spurs size and quickness is a huge problem for Miami. The Spurs are basically a veteran club, and they know what to do in a close-out situation simply because they have been there and done that many times before. However, you can never underestimate the heart of a champion, so Game 6 should be a classic. Tony Parker, Danny Green, and Tim Duncan have seemed more like the “Big 3” in this series, while Dwayne Wade has struggled, Chris Bosh hasn’t been consistent, and LaBron can’t win it all by himself.
