Potential jurors are being sought as the Zimmerman trial gets underway.
Attorneys are seeking six objective members and four alternates.
The first 100 potential jurors have been interviewed filled out questionnaires judging their ability to be objective.
The selection process is expected to take an entire week, since they have to go through 500 potential candidates, searching for the most objective people.
No one can argue that Zimmerman shot the unarmed Trayvon Martin in February of 2012. Zimmerman’s prosecutors will be working to show that he racially profiled the black teenager. The challenge faced by the defendant’s attorney must convince the jurors that Zimmerman only used his weapon in self defense.
