Join KISS – FM & The Quiet Storm tonight in celebrating the life and the music of the 1st Lady of Soul, Ms. Aretha Franklin on this, her 72nd birthday. Of all of the many musical voices that came out of the Motor City, none had quite the impact of Aretha, who kicked the door in for female R & B vocalists of the 60’s and 70’s. So many hits, too many to mention, but my all-time Aretha favorite is ” Ain’t No Way “. Those lyrics still hold weight some 50 years later. Happy Birthday Aretha Franklin.

NASCAR’s first female driver Danica Patrick is celebrating her 32nd birthday this evening, and Rock n Roll legend Elton John is 67 on this Monday, March 25th, 2013.
