If heading west of Richmond today your commute will be wet and white. A winter weather advisory is in effect for the southern and eastern portions of the state. Up to 2-4 inches of snow accumulations are expected for Goochland, Fluvanna, and Louisa counties. Winter weather is also forecasted for western Hanover and parts of Caroline counties.
UPDATE: Caroline County, Essex County, King and Queen County, King William County, Lancaster County, Louisa County, Middlesex County, Orange County, Prince William County, Richmond County, Spotsylvania County and Westmoreland County Schools are closed today.
