Richmond Mayor Dwight C. Jones has announced a new partnership for the city. The Mayor’s Youth Academy (MYA) is partnering with Kings Dominion providing up to 100 jobs for city youth, ages 16-19. The selected participants will begin working at the amusement park in April 2013. GRTC is on board to operate shuttles services to and from Kings Dominion providing MYA youth reliable transportation.
Applications for the MYA summer employment are available at the City of Richmond. Applications will be accepted through Saturday, January 12, in-person at the East District Initiative 701 North 25th Street. No applications will be accepted after 2 p.m.
