Actor Idris Elba has long expressed his plans to move into directing film and TV projects, but now he’s finally getting the chance to step behind the camera to do so.
According to a new Sky TV report, the British actor is set to make his directorial debut in a 30-minute TV drama chronicling the unusual relationship between a successful businesswoman and a homeless man in The Pavement Psychologist. Elba even had the good fortune of creating and writing the screenplay himself.
