Former US Senator George Allen is now a candidate for the US Senate again. Allen wants to be the 51st vote to repeal “Obamacare” saying it will cost more jobs than create them. Former DNC Chairman Tim Kaine is vying for that same seat and thinks the Affordable Care Act is a “great achievement” for the American people.

Quinnipiac University released its latest poll on the US Senate race today and Allen leads by a slim margin of 46% to 44% with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.4 percentage points. Kaine wins largely with 87% of Democrats while Allen wins with 92% of Republicans. Both Kaine and Allen are tied among independents with Kaine marginally ahead, 44% to 42%
